It’s October, officially fall and Crime Prevention Month! We still have plenty going on to finish out the year.
48th Annual WSCPA Crime Prevention & Community Engagement Conference 2026 – Advancing Prevention Through Partnership -
What better way to cap off Crime Prevention Month than attending our 48th annual conference at Icicle Village Resort in Leavenworth, Washington, from October 26 – 28. Speakers will cover topics from CPTED and Community Engagement to case studies and a FIFA World Cup Debrief. We’re also celebrating 50 years of WSCPA! Join us at our hosted networking reception on the first night of the conference. We wouldn’t be an association without you all.

Crime Prevention Thursdays –
Due to the conference in October, our next Crime Prevention Thursday is Nov. 19 at 11 a.m. We’ll hear from Target Zero Manager for Whatcom, Skagit, Island, and San Juan counties, retired Bellingham Police Officer Carr Lanham.

Save the Date - our next Basic Crime Prevention and Community Engagement Course is scheduled! Join us March 8 – 10 at the Renton Police Department for training that provides a practical introduction to the core principles, strategies, and tools you need to build a successful crime prevention and community engagement program.
